The TF4 is an alphanumeric terminal suitable in all the applications in which is required ” a panel ” installation.
The principal applications of the TF4 are:

Display

- 12 pages of job. They can also maintain data when terminal is switched off therefore it is possible to memorize pages of frequent use.
Keyboard
- Alphanumeric to membrane with tactile feeling and acoustic Beep. Possibility to realize personalized keyboards for devoted applications or particular graphic demands of the client. Subsequently is endowed with gaskets that make the front of the terminal IP65.
- Eight function keys customizable from the consumer through icons graphic on the display in proximity of the key.
The keys F1 – F5 incorporated a led completely manageable by serial line. The function keys are tripled through the contemporary typing of the key SHIFT + key function or CTRL + key function.
Main Serial Line
- Can be RS232, RS422 or RS485 with baud rate from 300 to 38400.
- 7/8 bits character, 1-2 stop bit, equality even/odd/none/mark/space.
- All the parameters, included the select RS232 or RS422/485, can be planned by keyboard to level of SETUP and they are also maintained when the terminal is switched off.
- Protocol Xon/Xoff or handshake hardware through RTS/CTS
- Possibility of connection in MULTIDROP RS422 & RS485 up to 32 terminals with communication protocol Master/Slave type SMSP. (S.H.D. Master Slave Protocol).
- Serial line RS422 & RS485 isolated (optional) to eliminate problems of “common mode” in multidrop network.
Auxiliary serial lines
TF4 is able to have up to three serial line RS232 for the connection of optional devices devoted to the automation of the operative place as Bar codes readers, Badge, Transponder, Chip Cards, Printers, Libras etc.
Scanner CCD for bar codes reading (optional): allows to read labels with bar codes codified in CODE 39, CODE 93,
CODE 128, EAN/UPC, CODABAR, 2/5 5 bars, 2/5 interleaved, Matrix 2/5, PLESSEY, CODE 11.
Readers of slide manual Badge to a trace (optional): allows to read magnetic cards standard codified in ISO1, ISO2, ISO3.
Serial Printer RS232 (optional)
Allows to connect a printer to the Serial standar terminal RS232 for the issue of slips, labels, or any other press.
Special devices:
- Readers of Transponder for operator identification a/o system activation.
- Input/output card (or other appropriately designed) fit to check simple servomechanisms, calculation pieces or particular applications.
- 12 Input + 8 Output card (optional): allows the control of simple servomechanisms, such as rotary locks for control accesses, sensors and actuators in safety plants or other.
